Me and Rylie

We have 2 dogs named Java & Rylie.  I can't figure out why, but for some strange reason the dogs don't like me.  I am always very gentle when I pull their tails.  

So, when I'm playing, Rylie prefers to be locked in her kennel so I can't get to her.  I think it is pretty funny.  Check out my video.

Daddy went to Chicago for the day, but before he left, I tried on his shoe.  It did not fit - not yet at least ;-)

Hope everyone has a fabulous weekend.  Mommys work buddies came over to play last night.  It was super fun!

9 Month Check Up

On Sunday, Mommy and Daddy took me to the park because it was such a pretty day.  I played in the grass

And then I did my favorite thing - SWING!!!

Yesterday, Mommy took me to the doctor for my 9 month checkup.  The doctor told me I was now 28 inches tall (which is the 75th percentile) and 18 15/16 pounds, which is about the 60th percentile.  Can you guys believe it?!?  I am going to be tall like Daddy!  

The doctor told me I could start eating pretty much anything that Mommy could mash up, so get ready for stories and pictures!  Yesterday I fed myself carrots & chicken.  It was YUMMY!

3/22/09

Wow, we had a pretty eventful week this week.  Let's just say it wasn't the best week for Mommy.  No need to go into any details because Mommy wants to forget all about it.  I had a good week though.  Check out this pic of me after my bath last night.

Then Mommy & Daddy let me play a little bit before bed.

Mommy is trying to teach me to eat food like a big girl.  Yesterday I had cheerios, dried bananas and strawberries, and a chicken stick (it's like a hot dog for a baby).  Sound like a yummy meal or what?!?

All done - I am getting to be such a big girl!

Mommy took all my clothes off before I ate - she is so smart because after my juice I was yucky! I hope Mommy has a better week this week - I will keep you posted.

My Past Week

Mommy and Daddy decided that it was time to do a few home improvements over the weekend. They completed phase one which went really well.  Daddy installed a ceiling fan all by himself.  We are all so proud of him.  

Mommy and Daddy spent most of the day on Saturday and Sunday thinking about what to change in the house.  They even asked my pals Julia and Charlie over to ask their opinions.  I think our house is going to look great when they finish.  

I learned to do a lot of new things last week.  I now can feed myself my bottle....

And sit up from laying down.....

Yesterday Mommy and I had a little fender bender.  Mommy hit a Jeep and it made a dent in our Honda.  It scared me really bad, but fortunately neither one of us are hurt.  This morning, Mommy and I had to go take the car to the shop and get a rental.  They gave us a bright red Pontiac.  I love red!! 

I'm Gonna Be Mad at Mommy and Daddy Someday.....

Mommy tells me everyday that she wants to be best buds with me even through my teenage years.  I was thinking this would be ok until yesterday.  Mommy was going through all my clothes and putting away my baby clothes and rummaging through my big girl clothes when she came across this shirt that Uncle Andrew & Aunt Kelly gave me before I was born.  I am going to be a groupie!

Uncle Andrew even blogged about my cuteness (click HERE to read his blog post).  Uncle Andrew keeps talking about wanting to cook me for some reason.  

Then, as if dressing me in this outfit wasn't enough, Daddy gave me a bath before bed and did this to me......

Daddy, really?  I know I am smiling and all, but I think everything is hilarious.

So, when I am a teenager and not speaking to Mommy, please remind her what she did to me when I was little! ;-)

Fabulous Weekend

Mommy and I had a great weekend together.  Daddy was out of town, so we loaded up in the car with Grammy and Granddaddy to go see Mommy's closest friends that live in Hattiesburg.  I do not like to ride in the car because Mommy straps me in and won't let me get out.  Does that sound fun to anyone?!?  So, it was a LONG way there and a LONG way home, but we still had a blast!  We spent Friday night with Mommy's friend Keith Ann and my new buddy Rebekah.  It was confusing because she has the same name as Mommy!  Crazy!

When we got there, I taught Rebekah how to jump, since you all know that jumping is my favorite thing to do!

Beks is 3 months older than me, so she was crawling everywhere so we couldn't get any good pictures together, so Mommy just gave up and took pictures of us individually.  I think we look a lot alike.  Mommy thinks it is because we are both so darn cute and have similar hairdos.  

On Saturday, Rebekah went to Jackson to celebrate her 1st B-day party, so Mommy and I went to see her ANOTHER Rebecca!  Now I'm REALLY confused!!!  Mommy and Rebecca have been best buds since the 1st grade.  I sure hope I will make a friend like that!  So we went and saw Rebecca's new baby Margaret who is 6 weeks old.  She was such a cutie, but Mommy didn't want to turn on her flash and hurt her eyes, so the picture is kind of dark.  

Isn't she cute?!?  She was only a baby, so I stole the show and showed off for everyone that came over to visit!  But, she will catch up with me before I know it and then we can play together.  I can't wait!  We had a blast over there.  

Then we went back to the Carter's house and waited for Rebekah and Keith Ann to get home.  We played with all Rebekah's toys.  I wanted to eat all of her books, but Mommy wouldn't let me!  Uncle Andrew says I look all grown up in this outfit that he gave me.

Then we woke up on Sunday and we went to swing at the park.  

Then Grammy and Granddaddy came to pick us up but we got one last pic of all of the girls

We had such a fun weekend!  We hope to go back and visit soon!

My 1st Snow

Today I got to play in the snow for the first time.  Mommy came and woke me up from my nap so I could play in the snow before we went to church.  Here is me when they woke me up (I had taken most of my clothes off:): 

Then, Mommy plopped me down in the snow, so I started to make snow angels.
