It's Fall!

Sorry I haven't blogged in awhile, but I don't sit still long enough for Mommy to take my picture, but I did want to share with everyone about my week. Friday was Mommy's 28th b-day! Daddy and I celebrated by making Mommy her favorite breakfast - chocolate chip waffles! Then we went and shopped at the Gap b/c Aunt Kristin got her a gift card for new jeans and Mommy wanted them ASAP (you know how we girls love to shop!). After my nap, Mommy and Daddy took me to Gangi's house to spend the night so they could go to the movies and then a work event at Daddy's work. I love spending the night with Gangi! We had a lot of fun, but I woke up the next morning at 9:15 and felt terrible. I couldn't breathe well so Mommy and Daddy took me to the doctor and I had croup. Never heard of that before, but I don't feel so bad because Mommy hadn't either :). The doc gave me a shot and some meds and I felt SO much better. Unfortunately I didn't get to go to Disney on Ice b/c the doc said I was contagious to little kids :( But, there's always next year!

Today, Mommy took me to the park because fall is finally here! It is so nice outside! I wish it was Fall all year round! Here is Mommy chasing me (of course I don't want to sit still for pics anymore ;)
And then Mommy pushed me in the swing. As you can tell, I LOVE to swing :)

Alright, time to go take a nap. Just for the record books, I officially only take one nap a day, which makes Mommy tired for some reason :)

Oh, here is a pic of me eating Rotel Chicken last week. I LOVE cheese and pasta!

iPhotos

We had a very eventful week, but Mommy (oh and Aunt Stefanie) didn't take many pictures except with her very cool iPhone (which is my favorite toy of all times)!

On Wednesday, Gangi was out of town so Aunt Stefanie and Gracen came and spent the day with me (Mommy owes Aunt Stefanie BIG time for this - which is fine with me because it just means I get to see Gracen more ;). Anyways, Gracen and I were having craft time with the markers, but we only wanted to color ourselves, not the paper :) Here is what I did to myself while Aunt Stefanie was trying to remove the marker from Gracen's hand.
We had a blast all day and didn't even want to sleep all day. Poor Aunt Stefanie!

Then on Saturday was Dada's real b-day. Happy 28th BIRTHDAY DADA!!! We celebrated by going out to breakfast, then to the Germantown Festival. It was a lot of fun. They even had rides for the little kids like me! Here is me on the airplane ride before takeoff.

And then after it started. It was so much fun and we went super fast (as you can tell)
For the rest of Dada's b-day we went to Charlie's 1st B-day party (also SUPER fun!) and then I got to go to James and Candace's wedding. Wow, what a day! I slept good that night!

Mommy promises to go try to find a charger for the video camera so I can post videos of all I have learned lately.

Delta Fair + Dada's B-day

Sunday, Mommy & Daddy took me to the Delta Fair.  This is the 2nd time I have been to the Delta Fair - check out my pic from last year.  Wow, I have grown a lot in a year!
There wasn't much to do if you were under 32" and since I was only 30" I couldn't ride any of the rides, but I did get to go to the petting zoo!  Here is me and the goat having a staring contest
Then I fed the sheep
And kicked the horse.  I love the petting zoo!
Mommy and Daddy took turns riding the scary rides.  Mama looked sick after she rode the one that spun her upside down.  I'm glad I am too short for that one!  Then I posed for a pic, but was way too tired from all the activities to smile.
Then we left and someone gave me a "Lawler for Mayer" sticker.  Mommy and Daddy thought it was pretty funny.  Must be an inside joke because I didn't get it.  Oh well.
All in all the Delta Fair was a lot of fun!

Yesterday was Labor Day and everyone had the day off, so we celebrated Dada's 28th b-day!  It was a few days early, but it was the only time everyone could get together for the occasion.  Uncle Jared came over early to make everyone ribs so I got to play with Gracen!  We played in my car, in the sprinkler, and with bubbles.  We had so much fun.
I even made a special shirt for the occasion (ok, so maybe I didn't make it but Mommy and her buddy Brienne did and it looks like I made it since some of the letters are backwards, tehehehehe)
I hope Dada had a very special day.

Please Vote Now thru Sept 11th

The voting has begun on the cutest kid contest.  I would love it if you would vote for me at:  http://web.commercialappeal.com/coverkids/.  Uncle Andrew has already voted for me 100 times so if others would do the same, I will win!  I mean, we all know I am the cutest kid around, but unfortunately all these kids' parents think they are too!!!  Depending on your computer, I am either on the 3rd page, 3rd row, 1st column or 11th row, column 1.  Thanks to all you who vote!

Tuesday Blog Post

I had a pretty eventful week since my last post.  Mommy and I were supposed to go visit Great Granddaddy Bill for his 88th b-day, but right before we were supposed to leave I got sick so we couldn't go celebrate, but we promise to go soon!  So, Mommy and I stayed home together while I recovered from my tummy ache.  Here is me the next morning.  Mommy left the room for an entire 30 seconds and I found all the cheerios she had packed for our trip.  Mommy should know by now that she can't leave me unattended ;)
Later in the day I started feeling MUCH better and started to act like a crazy person.  I had a lot of energy to get out from the day before.  Check out my hair!!  Mama keeps telling Dada that I need a haircut and he says ABSOLUTELY NOT!  You can always tell what the weather is like in Memphis by just looking at my hair :)
On Friday night, Dada took me to the lake to see Pop Pop so we could give Mommy the night off!  We had a blast at the lake and I behaved for Dada and Pop Pop so maybe I will get invited back soon.  Mommy deserves a break every once in awhile!  Then Saturday after my nap, Mommy dressed me up because she read on the internet where they were having a photo contest at the mall for the cutest kid.  Of course Mommy thinks I am, so we entered.  The winner gets to be on the cover of a magazine.  Cool!  I will keep everyone posted on that because I will need your vote!  Gracen and and Gangi met us at the mall and then guess what?!?  Gangi let Gracen and I have a sleep over so Mommy and Daddy could go out with their friends.  We are best buds and had a blast.  Gangi took her eyes off of us for 1 second to start dinner and look what trouble we got ourselves into
I was the ring leader of this as you can tell ;)  So, she put us in our chairs for craft time.
We were REALLY good for Gangi because we want to get invited back SOON (hint, hint, Gangi, can we come back this weekend?!?).  We all slept really good and then the next day Gangi dressed us up in matching outfits and caught us holding hands.  We LOVE each other!
Mommy & Daddy bought me a jungle table and chairs and Dada put it together.  I think it is so much fun to sit at the table like a big girl and do crafts
I will learn to color with markers soon enough.  Mama, I think I need to start out with crayons ;)
Here is my table without me sitting at it.  I have an elephant, lion, tiger and panda chair.  Mamas favorite part of it is that it is easy to clean up my messes on it.  Isn't it cute?  I love it!
Finally, I wanted to post of pic of my 1st pedicure.  Mommy and I were at her buddies' house for dinner last week and they decided to paint my toes.  This is the only pic I could find where you could actually see my feet, so look closely....
Phew, that was a long post!  Hope everyone has a great week!
