Weekend Visitors

This weekend Uncle John, Uncle Andrew & Aunt Kelly came to see me and meet Baby Margaret. Somehow Uncle John left without taking any pictures :( Don't worry, we will get some over Christmas!

On Saturday morning Aunt Kelly and Uncle Andrew came over to play while Mommy and Daddy took there very first outing along since Margaret had been born - breakfast at Brother Junipers. We played outside most of the time and took pictures. Here are a few of them

After Mommy and Daddy got home, Uncle Andrew and Daddy started brewing beer. Uncle Andrew got the kit for Daddy's birthday and he LOVES it. I think Daddy found a new hobby :)

While the guys brewed beer, Mommy, Aunt Kelly, Margaret and I went to the park to take pictures.

After nap time, I was in a much better mood so posed for a few pictures and actually smiled.

We had such a great weekend and I was so sad to see everyone go home. But, we plan to all get together for Christmas. I can't wait!

Baby Margaret is Here!!!

My sister, Margaret Elise Rawlinson was safely born on 10/10/10 at 11:14 p.m. She weighed 5 pounds, 6 ounces and was 18 inches long. She came 2 weeks early because she couldn't wait to see me ;) I got really sick a few hours after Margaret was born, so I didn't get to go meet her at the hospital, but don't worry, Mommy and Daddy took a lot of pictures.

Daddy holding Margaret the next morning. Poor Margaret had to spend the night in the incubator because she was so little and the doctors had to monitor Baby Margaret's body temperature and blood sugar.

Mommy and Margaret at home. I was still at Gangi and Pop Pop's house because I was still sick - but couldn't wait to meet Margaret - until.......

I came home and met Baby Margaret. I was so sad because Mommy and Daddy were giving someone besides me attention. Can you believe it?!?

But, then Margaret gave me this super cool pink laptop as a thank you for being a great big sister.

I then realized Mommy and Daddy weren't replacing me, just brought me home a little friend. We are going to have a lot of fun together when she is older, but until then, I will just treat her as my baby doll. Giving her kisses

I helped Mommy give Margaret her first bath. She did NOT like it at all. Someday she will take baths with me when she gets bigger

So, what do I think of my new sister? I love her! I have been such a great big sister and have helped Mommy with her. She still sleeps a lot but is growing fast. She went to the doc yesterday and was already 5 pounds, 14 1/2 ounces and 19 inches long at 2 weeks old. It won't be long!

Uncle John, Uncle Andrew and Aunt Kelly came and visited me and Baby Margaret this weekend. I will post pics of our fun weekend together soon. I gotta go help Mommy with Baby Margaret now ;)

Gracen & Grant Spend the Night & I Colored My Mouth

Sorry to all my faithful readers for my lack of posts lately, but I have been VERY busy! Mommy and Daddy thought it would be a good idea to put our house on the market and try to sell it before Baby Margaret arrives, so we have been very busy with that. We have also all been trying to get the house ready for a new baby as well, so that has taken up most of my time.

Anyways, last weekend, Mommy and Daddy invited Gracen and Grant to come over for our first ever overnight slumber party. We started the evening out by trying to teach baby Grant how fun tummy time could be.This lasted about 15 seconds before us big girls ran off

I have a big girl bed now that is a trundle bed, so plan was for me and Gracen to sleep in the same room, but we had different plans. We have too much fun together to sleep! Maybe next time Mommy!

After they left, I decided to color while Mommy and Daddy rested and this is what happened:

Mommy and Daddy, you just wait until Margaret gets here and I have a partner in crime.

Mommy is now 31 weeks pregnant, so I'll be a big sister VERY soon!!! I found Margaret's paci that Mommy bought her yesterday and i can't wait to give it to her!

I'm TWO!!!Il

On Saturday, I turned TWO!!! I slept in until 9 and then Mommy got me up and let me open a few of my presents before they took me to out for my birthday breakfast. Aunt Kelly & Uncle Andrew couldn't make my party, but they still sent me my FAVORITE present - an ARIEL PILLOW!!! I don't know if you guys know it, but the Little Mermaid is my favorite movie these days and I love anything and everything with mermaids on it. Mommy and Daddy then gave me an Ariel book & coloring book and let me wear my favorite shirt since it was my birthday - yep an Ariel shirt.

After breakfast, we went last minute shopping for my party, then it was naptime, then the "Princess Party" began with my favorite outdoor activity - SWIMMING!!! Check out my new bathing suit I got for my b-day. Daddy said it was the only one left in my size and this was the last year I got to wear a 2 piece bathing suit ;)

After swimming, we had yummy hamburgers and hotdogs that Daddy and Pop Pop cooked for us. I sat at the "kids table" and ate like a big girl.

Then it was my favorite time of the day - ARIEL CAKE TIME!! Check out the super cool cupcake cake that Mommy and Daddy got me. It has 2 candles on it b/c 'I'm 2.'

I loved my cake and that everyone at the party was singing Happy Birthday to McKayla. Can you tell that I love getting attention?

Then it was present time!! Betsie, Warren and Rebekah Barnes got me a book with Bible verses for me to memorize - it won't be long before I can do that!

Then Aunt Stefie, Uncle Jared, Gracen and Baby Grant got me these cool Ariel sunglasses among many other cool gifts (including an Ariel bathing suit and art supplies!)

Gangi and Pop Pop also got me some art supplies to go with my new easel that Mommy and Daddy got me. I've had a blast coloring ever since I got all my new supplies. I'm going to be an artist ;)

Then I opened my very own Ariel doll from Brienne (my friend who always takes me to get chicken). Thanks Brienne!

And then my last present was a wagon from Grammie and Granddaddy. I LOVE riding in it! Grammie said I had to share it with my baby sister soon, but for now, I prefer to share it with Gracen ;)

Thanks to all my friends (Betsie, Warren, Rebekah, Beck, Gracen and Baby Grant) and family who came to my party and made it such a special day for me. I was definitely a princess for the day and had so much fun!

The day after my birthday was another special day - Father's Day. I love my Daddy and I hope he felt special on Father's Day. Mommy and I got him a new Keurig coffee maker. Thanks Daddy for loving me and Mommy and all you do to provide for us. You are the greatest!
