My New Pool

Mommy went to Target this week and bought me a pool.  While she was at the store, I played out in the grass with Daddy.

Then Daddy blew up my new pool.  Isn't it cool?  Java liked it too - it's his new water bowl ;) 

After blowing it up, Daddy filled it with freezing cold hose water.  I did not like that at all.  AHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Daddy this is COLD!!!!  Notice that my legs turned purple.

I may not like it now, but when the sun warms up the water, it will be a lot of fun.  Oh and next weekend we are going to the beach to celebrate Uncle Andrew graduating from medical school.  I can't wait!!!!!!!   Mommy also can't wait to have a Dr. Housholder in the family!

First Haircut

Today Miss Katie told Mommy she would trim my hair after Mommy got her hair cut.  Here is me acting good at the beginning of my trim

AHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!  I changed my mind.  Mommy, did you know Miss Katie has scissors in her hands?

Maybe if I hide my face, Miss Katie won't cute my hair.

Whew, I survived.  I guess that wasn't so bad.  Here is my after picture.  Look how good my bangs look.  I can see so much better now!

Mommy and I went and ate dinner at Grammy and Granddaddy's house tonight.  Grammy loved my new hair do.  She kept telling me how much better I looked ;).  

A Week of Pictures

This past Wednesday was Mommy's least favorite day of the year, tax day.  Luckily, Mommy finished all our taxes an entire day early!   Yeah!

Mommy taught me to use Turbo Tax, so next year, I am going to do our taxes.  If anyone else needs my help, let me know.  Uncle Andrew has already hired me to do his ;).  After we finished our taxes, Mommy let me play Wii.  

Mommy beat me, but I will beat her soon because I have way more time on my hands than she does.  After playing Wii, I took my nap and check out my hair when I woke up.  Here is the front view.

This week, my new thing is every time I pull up on something, I want to lick it.   Here is me at the door.

Oh, and I turned 10 months old this week.  Mommy can't believe it!  

Easter Weekend

So, Uncle Andrew, Aunt Kelly, and Uncle John met Mommy, Daddy and me at the lake on Friday night.  I'm not big enough to go fishing yet (Pop Pop is counting down the days until I can!), so Mommy and Aunt Kelly stayed back and I played with Pop Pop's shoe.  

We had so much fun at the lake!

Then on Saturday, Mommy and I went over to eat dinner with everyone and after dinner, I read a book

And then look what Aunt Kelly did to my hair!

Then Mommy took the rubber band out.  Teehee, I look funny!

Then when I got up Easter morning, Mommy had gotten me some Easter goodies.

Then we all got dressed up and went to church.  Gangi joined us and as we were leaving, we got to see Gracen in her pretty dress.  Here is Gangi with both of her girls.

After church, we went to Grammy's house to have lunch.  Before lunch, we all had our pictures made.  Here is the group:

End of a Great Weekend

As if going to the zoo yesterday wasn't enough for our fun filled weekend, today Daddy taught me to play the drums after my nap.  I put on my black guitar shirt for the lesson.  I had to concentrate really hard to stay on beat.  Notice my belly hanging out of my shirt ;)

After my drum lessons, Mommy & Daddy took me to the park and Daddy made me a headband out of flowers.  

I have a pretty exciting week ahead.  Easter is next Sunday, so Uncle John, Uncle Andrew and Aunt Kelly are coming to visit.  Yeah!

Day at the Zoo

Today Mommy and Daddy took me to the zoo for the 1st time.  They bought a family membership, so I have a feeling we will be taking lots of trips to the zoo.  It was SUPER fun! There were so many animals to see that we didn't get to see a bunch of them.  Good thing we can go back anytime!

First stop was the tigers - I thought those were pretty cool.  Here is me watching them

Next we were off to the petting zoo, but first, I took some pictures with Mommy and Daddy

There were signs that we could pet the animals, so I decided to do just that

After the petting zoo, we washed all the yucky goat germs off our hands and then I spotted a big plastic cow, so I decided to pose for some pictures.

Next we were off to the aquarium.  Mommy, I'm not quite sure what I think about these ugly fish.

Last stop was to see the infamous Memphis pandas.

Wow, what a day.  And we didn't even make it through half the zoo because it was time for my nap.  I can't wait to go back and see the monkeys!
